What a great night! This is basically the same message I left on the Orbital 'Loopz' forum, but thought I'd post it here as well: It was nice to see System 7 playing live (Loophead are Alex Patterson & System 7), as I've never seen them live before. They played 'Back Side Of The Moon' (superb track name! ;)), Alphawave (Ritchie Hawtin mix), and the BOB release amongst others. The classics (Fluffy, Perpetual Dawn, Blue Room, Toxygene + Eminem's "Without Me" over the top!, Huge Ever..., etc) were all played in the first Orb live set (together with Steve Hillage playing on all tracks) - I especially liked the version of 'EDM' (off Cydonia). On the second set, there were some storming new techno tunes, which (hopefully) will see the light of day as a future badorb release, together with a great Towers Of Dub, Assasin and Terminus, culminating with a version of Little Fluffy Clouds '98. I didn't really got to see some of the other sets, although Jimmy Cauty *didn't* play, and there were quite a few sets from DJ Lewis, although I only caught snippets of some of them. Multiverse were good, and some of the dj sets projected in the bar (Thomas Fehlman, Autolump, Prayer Box, et al). Top night had by one & all! BTW, there's a pretty good BadOrb discography at http://members.tripod.com/markolf/badorb.html courtesy of Marcolphus. l8rs, Nick ;-)
