Hiya Dave -- I'm Canadian, but have been living in the USA since '95. My family is in southwestern Ontario; I'm in Indiana now. I first joined the Orb list as a student in Montreal, '93-'95. I mostly lurk on the list these days, but still listen to the good Doctor's work. A remaster of UFOrb would be beautiful, wouldn't it? I have never heard of outtakes from those sessions, but would love to hear what the Dr. and Thrash came up with that didn't make it. - pascal ----- Original Message ---- From: Dave and Ros <daverosbooth@rogers.com> To: What were the skies like when you were young? <orb@mailman.xmission.com> Sent: Wednesday, January 17, 2007 11:08:47 PM Subject: [Orb] Question from Canada <!-- /* Style Definitions */ p.MsoNormal, li.MsoNormal, div.MsoNormal {margin:0in; margin-bottom:.0001pt; font-size:12.0pt; font-family:"Times New Roman";} a:link, span.MsoHyperlink {color:blue; text-decoration:underline;} a:visited, span.MsoHyperlinkFollowed {color:purple; text-decoration:underline;} span.EmailStyle17 { font-family:Arial; color:windowtext;} _filtered { margin:1.0in 1.25in 1.0in 1.25in;} div.Section1 {} --> Hi All, I had been reading the Orb archives on xmission.com for a while and decided it was time to join the conversation. Two questions and a comment: Has anyone heard of a possible re-master of UFOrb release—seeing as 2007 marks 15 years for the album? (It would be a nice follow-up to Ultraworld in 2005…) Are there any Canucks on this list? (Canuck = Canadian in British/American speak) Thanks to Kjartan Behm for Grey Clouds. Absolutely hilarious! -Dave. _______________________________________________ Orb mailing list Orb@mailman.xmission.com http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/orb Report list abuse to list-abuse at studio-nibble.com
