pay for it like the rest of us have, support our boys don't rip them off! Buy it, listen to it, and find for yourself if it's great or crap!
To be fair, I'm not entirely sure I agree it should go in that order. Would you buy a house without seeing it? Buy clothes without trying them on, or at least knowing if they're your size? Would you buy a car without driving it? Would you marry someone without meeting them? Granted some of these are drastic examples, but the idea is the same. If you are going to invest in something, you should be able to sample it somehow before deciding, sight unseen (or in this case, unheard) whether to buy it! I dont think I should have to spend a money on something without getting an idea of what I'm in for. Its no reflection upon the orb (for the record, I own about 90% of it, and everything that I could find I purchased). I just think its reasonable for me, as the person about to pay $35, to listen to something a bit before I have to spend my hard earned cash on it. I would say that I have purchased a large portion of the things I've downloaded and liked. And things which I buy and don't like, I ultimately just sell, often at a loss. Just as the record label, or even the individual artist, is allowed to defend his rights and his money, so I am allowed to defend mine. It's in the consumer's interest to hear things prior to buying them. I am not trying to defraud anyone, I just want to know what I'm buying. :) ------------------------------------------- 'You know I could run for governor but I'm basically a media creation.
