Isn't Paul "Planet of the Apes" Oakenfold officially 'The Best DJ in the World'- as voted by the discerning readers of Mixmag/ Ministry etc? If those readers think it, it's no wonder he doesn't enter into DMC championships- who needs that kind of accolade when you're championed by a bunch of permanenently gurning luminous chart trance heads. Personally, I'd choose Dave Pearce as the #1- he roles so many fat ones that I Jack after only a half hour of his show.
