Anyone know if the US release of will have 12 (UK) or 13 (Japan) tracks. Why do the do this? - is it to do with: attention spans, money, or favoritism.
Usually Japanese releases get more tracks and/or exclusive remixes to convince them to buy the official japanese release. Can't remember *why* they need convincing, but it might be because they can get US and UK imports so cheap that there's not much incentive to buy japanese releases. This is totally unfounded. It's just summat some bloke down t'pub told me once. On the assumption it's true, I've always been a bit narked off about it. A bunch of part-timers who need persuading to even buy the record get a load of extra stuff they probably won't even appreciate - 'cause if they were real fans they'd have bought it anyway! harrumph!
P.S. Anyone got any samples of 50's style, drunken pub singing from London (east end type) pub? Plink/plonk piano/"roll out the barrel" sort of thing. Not happy with the P2P samples I've found, so will pay the bar bill for someone to record this - thanks
