Wow. There are no words. I had to put both of my last two dogs down (weirdo cancers); I held them as they died. My niece in is the checkout line due to breast cancer. I believe there is meaning out there - in the greed and hate if only through the resistance to it. Evil, death, insanity, and pain serve only as places to avoid and endure, if possible. Words fail. Hang in there - it's along f**king drop otherwise. jeff ps the new Portishead is sweet, but not a recommended soundtrack for anyone in need of happy notes.
had to have the vet put down my 14 1/2 yr old golden retriever last night.....then i dug a hole and buried her....my fellow back garden erb & ORB listening "man's best friend" - the lovely annie;
last month sat at the bedside of a young sierra hiking friend, the day before he finally died due to brain cancer (he did manage to confirm that the drugs were good though, so i'm looking forward to that stage of my life);
and the month before that looking at the body of my daughters 17 year old boyfriend (of 2 years) in the open coffin, who had passed away due to 'an epileptic related disorder'..................but i expect that many of you have experienced far more worst in your own lives....
and the greed and hatred in the world, is there any meaning to that?
is there any meaning to life the universe & everything - if so, what is it, please share it with us all??
