er ... badorb went bust owing people money
Well that's another matter, I for one got everything I ever ordered from Badorb, but I may have just been lucky. But there's no doubt that Badorb was a major pain for everyone involved, LX included, I'm sure he wishes it had gone differently and I doubt he made any money off of the whole mess.
but I see your point. At one point I'd have said I owed the Orb (not just LX) for all the ejoyment I'd had from their records and shows, but given LX's hissy fits at some shows and the quality of some (not all) recent material, I reckon we're quits now.
See that's cool, if you don't dig the Orb anymore that's fine and totally your right not to buy their albums. I'm just a little fed up with people dissing Okie Dokie because it isn't U.F.Orb or something. Personally I liked the Komfort E.P., and I'm glad to hear LX taking the music in a new direction. I think a big part of why Cydonia and especially B&T fall short of expectations was because they sounded like poor imitations of past Orb. I think LX finally recognizes this too, and that's why he and Fehlmann are taking the music in a new direction, dig it or not it's a good thing people!! After all is said and done it's LX's thing and we all just along for the ride, unless it's your time to get off, which is probably I good idea for some of you that are fed up with the whole scene. But as for myself I'm not done with the Orb just yet. :)
