"My name is Kris Weston Formerly of escapist band the orb I have contacted your isp And will sue for the maximum penalty This kind of copying is killing music You will be hearing from my solicitor.. K.Weston" Looks like we have a new scandal here in Orb world! Here's my 2 cents: If the technology we have now is indeed unearthing the music industry as we know it, then it's time. God forbid we knock talents like Pink and J-Lo on their asses. It may take - heaven forbid - TALENT to survive in our internet age! Acts like the Orb have a rigid fan base because their product, to quote The Tribe, "is dope." LX doesn't need to insure his ass for two billion dollars - it's his music that counts. And I'm willing to bet that people like him - those with real vision and ability - will rise to the top, and probably would do it without financial reward, if necessary. I paraphrase Matisse when I say that all an artist needs is ENOUGH money, and THAT, even today, ain't much. Sorry if the industry goes down in flames, but I have to sit and wonder what the future of music might be like with the borders exploded. Call me optimistic, but art loves a crisis. Hang on to your wallets, boys and girls, and keep your ear to the ground! - dan _________________________________________________________________ The new MSN 8 is here: Try it free* for 2 months http://join.msn.com/?page=dept/dialup
