I think they are just different people 15 years later with a different view on things (or maybe it's just Lx at the hub with his view on things). The output reflects that. Of all artists, I imagine The Orb would have less hassles sampling legitimately. There's probably a certain street cred that goes with having them sample you. Who knows. Either way - it's a new style, love it or hate it. (In my case - I'm leaning towards the latter, though I still feel this need to continue buying the releases. Hmmmm.)
