This came to mind today because there was something on MSN about putting microchips into your pets so in case they get lost, you can scan them and the chip will give the finder all the information on the owner, etc. It's now becoming a reality for some people as well, so they can carry around their medical information, etc. The whole thing reminded me of the 'bar code' sequence in the song, and how he related it back to the number 666.
