"Loving You" is the Peel Session, but the others are not...even though a "Blue Room" Peel Session would be dreamy...:D What those happen to be are John Peel's Festive 50 picks. For those who don't know, I believe in 1976, John Peel would pick his 50 favorite songs ever made and broadcast them on the BBC. Then in 1982, he limited the lists strictly to a year by year basis. He said it ruined his Decembers...lol. "...a decision that was to ruin my Decembers for years to come, condemning me to night after night at home with a ledger, when I could have been out and about having fun, fun, fun." With all these Big Life re-releases going on...I wonder if there will be a "Complete Peel Sessions" box sometime soon - Remastered with good liner notes, detailing the recordings and the fever "Loving You" stirred as the most requested Peel Session. Anyways...if anyone has a recording of the 97 session, please let me know... Peace...out Michael "Without John Peel, Richard Branson would be alone in a house somewhere, surrounded by boxes of Oldfield's 'Tubular Bells'." - Michael A. Thomas
