I finally heard the whole thing yesterday (yeah that's right, I waited until street date, how novel!!!!), and I must say that I'm quite pleased with it and it's pretty much what I expected after hearing the Komfort EP. Sure it may be mostly a Thomas Fehlmann album, but I'm OK with that and I think it's actually a more interesting album than Lowflow which was kind of boring IMO. I'm glad to hear the Orb is finally moving forward rather than recycling the same rooster samples and dub basslines ad nauseum a la B&T, because I think we can all agree that it was pretty tired. It sounds much more contemporary and I think it fits in quite nicely in the kompakt catalog and along side artists in a similar vein such as Jan Jenelik and Ezekiel Honig. The only complaint I have is the inclusion of the three year old Cool Harbor, but other than that I think it's the best Orb release since Orblivion. It isn't U.F.Orb II, and that's Okie Dokie with me. Jason
