what about all the stuff the Pole guy has been putting out on the scape label.  Especially the releases by Jan Jenelik/ Farber, Deadbeat (nice dubby stuff!), and some guy named Thomas Fehlmann.

    Hrm. Yes. :D

Sub Dub I like a lot, been getting into them lately. Very orbish in the
vein of towers of dub

If you want something darker, check out muslimgauze, he's very prolific
(www.pretentious.net/muslimgauze) altho also sorta hit or miss. Ranges from
really groovy downbeat to ambient tabla to some sort of marginal crazy
noise.

This is sort of a tangent, but check out Ananda Shankar. He put a cd out
recently with State of Bengal, but if you can find some of his older shit
that's dope too.

I'm sure most people on here know these guys, but the boards of canada
are extra dope. I still like Music has the right to Children, altho their
second LP is also real good.

And while you're at it, anything on the ninja tune label is solid
(www.ninjatune.com).

On a side note, I picked up the lemon jelly "Spacewalk" ten inch. Its
interesting. I like the heavy sampled beat loops. They sound like some
bernard purdie studio outtakes or something.

On another side note, I figured out how to disable HTML in hotmail. Go
me! :)

>anyone got any names of  ambient bands like orb- fsol worth checkin out?
>nice one!
