hey folks... ...sorry if i've already missed the responses to this, but i've just got back from two weeks holiday and have 700+ emails to read! ;-) anyway, the initial release of ultraworld DID have the "classical pressing" sticker, which means that it was made with brand new, pristine, vinyl - rather than lower grade or recycled vinyl, which is the usual method. this is / was routinely done with classical vinyl releases, as "virgin" vinyl gives a better frequency response for higher / lower notes and therefore sounds better. i assume that, as ultraworld has the whole spectrum of sound frequencies within it, some bright spark / audiophile came up with the "classical pressing" idea. cheers, --- Smiley

Luck has been with me the past two and a half months. I've scored both The Orb's "Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld" and Underworld's "Second Toughest In The Infants" on vinyl. Finally!, and they were priced like new releases just hitting the market. Question regarding "Ultraworld." There is a sticker on the cover stating "Special Classical Pressing" with the catalog number BLR DLP 5 below it. I'm wondering if this indicates a reissue? I don't see a reissue listed in Lazlo's or Rachel's discography. Or was this sticker on all the vinyl at the time of release?
