Yeah you need sync.. Its good! I think that mix does suck a bit yeah... Mebbe you wont with sync! Try tracktor for play back of cds on your comp There are these boxes made by someone or other Red planet I think theyre called They sync up your decks or cd and mixer And send midi clock out to whatever They are pretty good And if they drift you gotta tap button to tap it bak into time
The cd decks and turntable were used only for sound fx, environmental, and funny sounds so I don't really need or want to synch them with anything. The Red Planet box sounds good if it's not too expensive. Oddly enough I was thinking about buying a midi controller/sequencer to mind all my machines just today while painting my front door. I thought to myself, "Self, we should learn about midi." And myself said, "What the fuck are you going to buy more music shit with?!?! You're fucking broke and lucky you're not arrested for it being as how you live in some sort of 1984 meets A Tale of Two Cities kind of period." Then I thought about having sex with that fantastic babe at the coffee shop for a while and then I got hungry and took a break to eat chips... So... Uh... yeah. Controller. That's a great idea. I'm definately going to check out this Red Box thing. Playing live with a computer is just way out of my budget right now. I've invested well over $10G in the stuff I have and I've got to do the best I can with what I've got and the few pennies at my disposal until I make enough to replace it all. Also, that Allen & Heath 464 mixer that's my next purchase rules out any serious expenses for a while. I would love to say fuck it, buy a Triton and get rid of all this stuff but my ship has yet to come in.
Wow! Great echo on his voice... Try waves restoration for making it usable in a track.... You give it a blast of the noise on its own and then you snorted Another bible thumper gone nuts I reckon..
All of it was recorded with a single stereo mic in one take. I edited out some mic handling noise at the beginning, and cut some eq for lo-fi listening but other than that it's the sound of my neighborhood. If anyone wants a .wav copy of this to use for any reason, let me know. www.psychicreform.com Change your mind. "Look at the past 25 years. We went downhill, and if people don't realize it, they don't have their fucking eyes on ... In 1960, when I came out of prison as an ex-convict, I had more freedom under parolee supervision than there's available to an average citizen in America right now... God almighty, what have we done to each other?" --Merle Haggard (June, 2002)
