You have to burn with "disc-at-once" turned on. Otherwise the laser shuts off between tracks and leaves gaps.

Burned it on cd to listen to on my portable cd in the garden with a
Marguerita on the side and it's quite effective, with brilliant touches all
over the place. Pity that my burner left some 2 second spaces between every
track. I wanted to burn it without interruptions but something went wrong in
the translation from mp3 to cda. I like it, but I'm an ambient Orbgasmer
anyway (and hopeless with cd burning progs).
