hey fellow orbies.. I have a few question about different orb CD's that I hope that someone can answer. 1.... Alex Paterson's - Voyage into paradise: A couple of week ago I found a CDR promo for this one (Voyage into Paradise), but to my dispair - I find that there are this short skip between the tracks... which is completely annoying. So I was wondering if anybody else know of this problem - or if they just cheated me into buying a homemade CDR (which they couldn't quite figure out to make)... 2.... once more CDR promo:
From the same place I can buy a couple of other CDR promos for 'Once more'... but do they really exist or is these homemade copies of the 12'' records (with scratches and all that vinyl noise) - just to look like the real thing or ......?
The description/tracks for each are as follows: The first 'once more' CDR: 9-track promo-only CD featuring 1: (Bedrock Mix)(8:13), 2: (Mark's Steamroller Mix)(7:09) & 3: Little Fluffy Clouds (Danny Tenaglia's Detour Mix)(10:20); 4:: (Mark's Slide Mix)(7:40), 5: (FX Explores Satan Mix)(4:48) & 6: (Bedrock Dub)(7:54), 7: (Album Version)(4:17), 8: (Scourge Of The Earth Long Mix)(4:52) & 9: (Mark Pritchard Remix)(7:50), custom print on CD & generic company slee The second 'once more' CDR: 8-track promo-only CD featuring 1: (Bedrock Mix)(8:03), 2: (Mark's Steamroller Mix)(7:09), 3: Little Fluffy Clouds (Danny Tenaglia's Detour Mix)(8:36), 4: (Mark's Slide Mix)(7:42), 5:(Mark Pritchard Remix)(7:52), 6: (Bedrock Dub)(7:52), 7: (Scourge Of The Earth Long Mix)(4:52) 8: (FX Explores Satan Mix)(4:48) custom print on CD & generic company sleeve 3.... Orbus Terrarum: Maybe you have been through this earlier in life - but I haven't... I don't quite understand the versions of this CD. In Lazlo's old discography one of the versions state "longer versions on some tracks, but on the other hand - others are shorter... All in all the total time of the different versions are approximately the same. Are there any real differences between the versions of the CD or is it just in the editing phase that the tracks has been cut differently 4... Last but not least... Does anybody still record these thursday teatimes? And if so - is there any chance that these could be uploaded on one of the ftp's? I have been trying to record them myself, but I can't make this damn Streambox software work... Cheers all /Claus
