my fav LX work changes alot. but right now Orbvs Terrervm and Pomme Fritz are by far my fav Orb/LX works at the moment. FFWD is a good dark album but never been a favorite of mine. always enjoyed though. i even recently got that cool star symbol from the Pomme Fritz album tattooed on my right arm. i was going to get some more work done on the same arm but i havnt decided exactly what i want yet. id like some more orb/LX type images, but i dont know what yet. anyone else with orb tatts want to e-mail me and send me pics of what they have that would be very cool. But things change...the Orb, as it was, is no longer. With the comings and goings of various members, the sound has gradually, but noticably, changed. Many of us "olde-time" orbies liked it better the old way. Perhaps this is why there seem to be fewer and fewer of the "old" posters on this list.
speaking of which - what ever happened to Pete Ashdown? Such a strong presence on the list - almost a decade ago, no? (thank god I'm still in my 20's)
For me, personally, I think the last truly great Orb album was Orbus Terrarum (not counting the first Auntie Aubrey's, which I love).
I am still die hard FFWD, though I rarely rarely listen to it anymore. For me it was the last great, great thing. Otherwise I do think groovetech has reaffirmed my overall agreement with Alex's tastes.
