"I was at work yesterday when I posted my four choices and could not recall titles or correct titles of my choices. The Ras Michael and Sons Of Negus dub album is 'Rastafari Dub' and the Black Uhuru album is actually titled 'The Dub Factor', not The Dub Album as I previously posted." Oh man, you're bringing back the memories. 'The Dub Factor' is probably my all time favorite album. Black Uhuru and Sly & Robbie are great, but together they're brilliant. Speaking of Ras Michael... I was fortunate enough to see him AND Pablo Moses (among others) at the Roots Mountain Reggae Festival in Tonasket, WA (http://www.televar.com/~dvester/RMR2.html) in '98. Ras Michael played a stunning 4+ hour set that ended somewhere around 5:00am. I had never heard him before, but wow... the heavy, heavy, deep shit dub echoing throughout the Okanagon just blew me away. I'll have to check out 'Rastafari Dub'. For newer music, the 'Planet Dub' compilation is awesome, especially if you like Children of the Bong.
