Those would be "Video Discs"... catchy name huh?
Video discs though, what are they? Someone did remember em.. They are different than laser discs then right? I remember they almost resembled vinyl. I swear those were the wierdest things, and I can't believe they had DTS and shit waaay back then.
I think you're talking about RCA Selectavision & related discs. They were available in the early 80s, well before DTS & Dolby Digital/AC3. http://www.cedmagic.com/selectavision.html
