My boyfriend and I both got fired from our IT jobs here in Madison. We found out the president of our company, who was married to a 75yo attorney, was fucking the CEO of her company, who was married and had two kids at home and a $40mil bank account, behind her husband's back... We intercepted an email she sent him that said to the effect of "I really am glad we have such wonderful sex..." etc. etc. Stupidly, and hilariously, we forwarded it around the entire office, to all the venture capitalists, to all the investors, to the CEO and his wife, to the president AND her husband, to the newspapers, the radio... This was in retaliation for us being reprimanded for using a felon to do some security work on the servers. We didn't know he was a felon at the time... Do some research on Chicago, Joseph Konopka, and CTA, and you'll read all about it. Anyway, we were both terminated. I haven't played corporate policeman since... And I learned a valuable lesson. If she's fucking the CEO behind her husband's back, just take photos... And publish them on the net instead :) and then send her husband the URL. *giggle* Anyway... Back to reality...! -Brian On 7/17/03 9:06 PM, "Gavin Miller" <orbaddict@yahoo.com> wrote:
I cant resist... Maybe he'll Learn from this & Evolve into a better employee. Gavin
I got myself into a similar situation when I was younger and it cost me my job. I learned my lesson and it made me a better person.
Agreed. I used to think I was invincible at my job (fixing pinball machines), then I got axed. I look back and see where I was wrong and have since changed my attitude. A friend of mine said to me once "I think everybody needs to get fired once in their life" I agree wholeheartedly with that statement too, a reality check every now and then is good. Gavin
