I'm listening to it now and it's f-ing brilliant! I'm not one to start flame wars, but for anyone to say the whole album is crap is an ignorant comment or just elitist snobbery. Maybe you don't fully understand that tracks like Mommy Don't, and Pluto Calling were made when House Music and sampling was still in its infancy. The first House record was released in 1986. The first use of samples in House was by Todd Terry in 86 or 87. Ambient House was basically invented by the KLF and Orb around 87 or 88. These tracks might be dated by today's standards, but at the time they the bleeding, freaking edge of the genre. It's hard for me to understand how anyone can listen to these tracks let alone the whole album and call it crap. It reminds me of when people saw the first impressionist and cubist paintings and called them crap. ________________________________ From: orb-bounces+dgagen=ensemblestudios.com@mailman.xmission.com on behalf of marcolphus Sent: Mon 10/17/2005 1:31 PM To: What were the skies like when you were young?
