I use my ftp server regularly. While it doesn't have super fast transfer rates, it is far from unreliable. The only time people have problems is when they do not do the following: -Use a real FTP client (not a broswer) -Make sure you have your data connection type set to PORT. It take forever for it to open up, it times out in a few seconds if your attention wanders after ten minutes waiting for a folder to open up, and it's named like a microbrewery beer that has dust on it at the local liquor store.
