Since we are on a big "what's good dub" I thought I would chime in. I've been dj'ing old school dub for quite a few years and have found these dub albums to be some of the best: Lee Perry - Blackboard Jungle (LX gets so many samples from this album its ridiculous) Augustos Pablo - King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown Augustos Pablo - Original Rockers Mikey Dread - African Anthem (classic with lots of samples used by many artists) Aston Barrett - Familyman in Dub (bob marley's bass player's fine dub album) Tappa Zukie - In Dub Jah Lloyd - A DOUBLE HELPING OF JAH LLOYD & KING TUBBY King Tubby - Essential Dub Burning Spear - 100th Anniversary Dry & Heavy - Full Contact Glen Brown - Termination Dub Harry Mudie - Harry Mudie Meets King Tubby's in Dub Conference Volume 1 Joe Gibbs & Errol Thompson - African Dub All-Mighty Chapters 1 & 2 Keith Hudson - Pick A Dub Linton Kwesi Johnson - Lkj in Dub Ras Michael & The Sons of Negus - Rastafari Dub And of course there are tons of dub compilations out there which are very good as well. I hope this helps some of you uncover the fabulous dub of the 70's and early 80's. thx. greg
