I actually find LX's DJ sets more interesting that the Orb show, but then again I only saw him alone once, and the memory is a lil hazy. I think it was 2002 Bob Marley's birthday. I was celebrating for mine as well, and LX ended up babysitting.
I'm just into spotting whatever new dub gems he has unearthed, I can never find them or a recent tracklist.
I wouldn't call him a turntablist, from the few times ive seen he runs
hot and cold. The genius is in the selections that he plays and mixes
together (IMHO).
