Just in case any of you are interested, I just set up a live chat room for us on Slsk.
There is no admin involved so if you are running slsk you can autojoin. If one of us is there, you'll see them on the list. If no one is there, you would just be the single person in the room until someone else logs on.

Select "join chat room" or "create chat room"
It's called:

Why not .... It's worth a shot. I know some of you are there on & off.
