I kind of have a different take.like back in the 80s waiting for a vinyl release at the store.or even the 90s with cds. The anticipation is fun. Waiting for an actual record in the mail. Meanwhile I can get the latest Black Dog mp3s every month or whatever. The Orb is special. But I see where it is frustrating, too. TBH, it's frustrating that I have to wait to listen to my purchases until they get delivered tomorrow, even though I pre-ordered the bundle as soon as it came out. Why don't they release it digitally via TMStore? The Prodigy stuff I've bought through there has digital downloads, even if it is only MP3. I bought OSS - Enter the Kettle test pressing and that didn't include anything and I'm avoiding playing it, so still haven't really listened to the album. _____ From: daverosbooth@rogers.com <mailto:daverosbooth@rogers.com> <daverosbooth@rogers.com <mailto:daverosbooth@rogers.com> > Sent: 28 April 2023 13:39 To: 'What were the skies like when you were young?' <orb@mailman.xmission.com <mailto:orb@mailman.xmission.com> > Cc: 'polar-sequence' <polar-sequence@home.nl <mailto:polar-sequence@home.nl>

The list is still working, but not very active I suppose. There's a lot of activity on our Facebook page 'The Orb Music & Remixes' (where the vid was made available two hours before going public). As far as the breaking of the news, a short and probably incomplete list of Orb activity lately: The Dream got rereleased a few month ago on LSD, vinyl and CD: https://liquidsounddesignuk.bandcamp.com/album/the-orb-the-dream-2022-remast ered-edition Prism is out today!: https://theorb.bandcamp.com/album/prism or https://orb.tmstor.es/ New Chocolate Hills next month: https://chocolatehills.tmstor.es/ And from end of last year: Violeta Vicci - Autovia Remixed. Those who order the CD get a bonus live remix version as digital extra: https://paintedwordrecords.bandcamp.com/album/violeta-vicci-autovia-remixed Various - Artifical Intelligence got rereleased on vinyl (including Loving You), available from Bleep or any other good store Chocolate Hills - Joy To All - A Christmas track! https://chocolatehills.bandcamp.com/track/joy-to-all Orb remix of the otherwise brilliant afp releases (afp = Andy Falconer, also in Sedibus with LX): https://afpmusic.bandcamp.com/album/orb-v-afp-september-ep Cheers Johan Van: daverosbooth@rogers.com <mailto:daverosbooth@rogers.com> <daverosbooth@rogers.com <mailto:daverosbooth@rogers.com> > Verzonden: vrijdag 28 april 2023 01:23 Aan: 'What were the skies like when you were young?' <orb@mailman.xmission.com <mailto:orb@mailman.xmission.com> > Onderwerp: [Orb] New release on Youtube Not sure if I am breaking any news to anybody ready, but this was just posted to Youtube 12 minutes ago.curious if the list is still active.
