I despise mp3s. My copy was dispatched from the UK yesterday. I'll see if I can tell a difference when it arrives here in the US. -matt
To be honest, I'm not sure that these have been remastered - I honestly couldn't find any information on the sleeve notes (although it was a brief read).
From initial listening, I can hear crackling at the beginning of "Earth (Gaia)" (although that might have something to do with the quality of the "Flash Gordon" sample?) and a glitch at the end of one of the other tracks.
So, has anyone who has listened to the "deluxe" edition actually noticed an improvement in sound quality, especially since it doesn't mention "remaster" on the sleeve/notes?
Not that I'm complaining, as it's given me an excuse to relisten to these songs again!

= don't bother) comment on the quality of the remastering - mind blowing (a la Rush Signals remaster) or big deal (a la Rush Moving Pictures remaster).
