Ooh man, i couldn't agree more! That version is by far better than the one that appeared on Cydonia.. The Cydonia version is not 'fat' sounding as it should do. And is less rough sounding. Why they desided to apply a different mix is a complete MISTERY to me.. Or can anybody clear this up for me? To me, the true genius behind the sounds and scapes I fell in love with years ago, is Kris Weston, a.k.a. Thrash...but of course there are different chapters in the Orb anthology, with different creators and a public lacking one distinctive taste in the sounds they like. Hi out there, what a discussion right here. DonÂ´t forget all the musicians in the past, I think all of them gave a lot to the old sound of the orb, and thatÂ´s the thing that happens on the new system 7 release for example, in that case Steve Hillage takes a part, where you can hear on Orblivion or sometimes cydonia that kind of pitched Synthies. Sorry, to say that but if I could mix them out, I would like that records much more. But I like Cydonia, the problem is that a songstructure they choosed has a much more remaining effekt than the throwing around Ambience of earlier times. You remain the Cydonia record much more in your mind than older ones. But thatÂ´s the fact of making music with lyrics, so you canÂ´t really say itÂ´s a bad record, itÂ´s something else. CD Now has a listing for the BadOrb.com "Bless You" release. They list a July 9th release date. At least it won't be too hard to track down... ND

OK sorta off topic here but interesting nevertheless... I was watching a rerun of the Mothers Day 2001 episode of "Saturday Night Live" on VHS (A popular program here in the states) and one of the main actors Maya Rudolph was talking about her mom Minnie Ripperton! The original vocalist of A Huge Evergrowing... (Loving You). Kinda cool I guess, the Nine Degrees of the Orb extends yet further. And for all of you who could give a rats ass (arse)... I've sucessfully raised my cat to like Orb music. No matter how hyper she gets if I put on Orbus Terrarvm she mellows out and goes to sleep in front of the speakers...Real cute. -um I bore you now. I know I am going to get flammed by this, but I blame the recent decline in orb music quality by spending too long on tour with successful, but SHORT lived, wonders like the Chemical Brothers, etc. They have been given a false sense of the type of noise the public wants, well that is just my opinion.
