hello all. I am brand new to this computer thing and am so glad that such a resource exists. I have been mad about the orb since I first heard little fluffy clouds(91') and ever each time I hear something new(to me anyway)I nearly soil myself. I have all( I think )the major releases but am looking for some of the GOLD that you all seem to have. The only things I have that I have not seen on anyones list is Axiom ambient- Lost in the Translation( has a long mix of "praying mantra" called AUM as well as contributions from Laswell,Terre Thaemlitz, the orb, Tetsu Inoue ), and sabres #1 mix of oxbow lakes. I also have the Pet shop boys so hard single that has a crazy klf(lx?) ufo mix b side. I also have Klf "chill out" that sounds odly orb like. I am aware of lx's previous connection but could someone fill me in more. 1) Just want to thank Lazlo for the fine site that has served us well for so long - cheers. 2) I found an MP3 called "rainbow bridge" - orb. It has a brit introducing it: "this is the world of the beautiful and the bizarre". Sounds good enough to be the orb, but I can't find anything on this anywhere, anyone know anything about it? 3) Finally, anyone know Alex's feelings on being recorded live (for non commercial use) and also how aggressively do they stop people doing this at Studio Z, San Francisco? thanks, bill

Yes and Yes! If you liked Subliminal Sandwhich (i.e. trippy dub with no vocals) then you should definitely pick this one up, it even comes with a bonus 3" CD, which not many people put out anymore. The scratching by Radar is especially hot! Moving on to a completely unrelated topic, does anyone have any interest in the Damage Manual full length album that contains the Orb Mix, plus a couple Laswell mixes and a Laswell/ Jah Wobble "Hybrid" Mix (which I think refers to their collaboration and not the Distinctive breaks guys). Ultraworld vinyl question

Luck has been with me the past two and a half months. I've scored both The Orb's "Adventures Beyond the Ultraworld" and Underworld's "Second Toughest In The Infants" on vinyl. Finally!, and they were priced like new releases just hitting the market. Question regarding "Ultraworld." There is a sticker on the cover stating "Special Classical Pressing" with the catalog number BLR DLP 5 below it. I'm wondering if this indicates a reissue? I don't see a reissue listed in Lazlo's or Rachel's discography. Or was this sticker on all the vinyl at the time of release? fvll

Yes, he is definitely mixing the 3 a.m. eternal at the very end of the mix, and then he turns the turntable off and lets it run down. But I have another question regarding the 40 min mix for y'all. On the mp3 I downloaded last year, there is a couple of skips during the Mulitverse track, sounds kind of like someone bumping the turntable while it is playing. Does everyone else's copy have these glitches? Any info mucho appreciated, hope everyone is doing well out there in Orbland!
