If dissenting opinions are publicly vilified by the news media, the conditions that make free speech and dissent possible will wither. People will not speak out against war or other unpopular policies, irrespective of their constitutional right, for fear that they will be demonized or punished financially or socially. In modern societies, it is unnecessary to resort to crude methods like imprisonment or torture to silence dissenters. I have TotalRecorder 4.1, DSL, and can start to record and encode these. The first seems to be recording without any problems (at least not this time in the am :). There are 89 weekly shows (going back to 5/1/2001), looks like each show is divided into two 57-60 minute sets. So 178 hours worth of Anyone want to offer hosting these? Or we could start a CD-tree for these too, I suppose :) Looking at the playlists, they aren't particularly electronica-oriented, but interesting nonetheless. - pascal

Hi All...... Well i have replyed personally to Ted and as there is interest in this i will offer the same to others If you can post me 6 blank cds (not in jewel cases ) just stick them in those cardboard sleeves that come with the AOL etc set up discs .just go into Tescos or Asda and nick half a dozen sling the discs out put your blanks in , cover me for the return postage etc and i will copy the project for you. PETA is another organization that has truly outlived its usefulness. Here are a couple of things I came across recently. The second is a real letter sent to Arafat pleading with him to stop using "donkey bombs". They could care less about the people being killed, just save the donkeys.
