OT slightly mp3 shortening

Have any of you run into the problem of finding your mp3s to be chopped off at the end. I have several mp3s of my original material that are missing the ends and I can't figure why. They used to play fine but after being moved around a few times they seem to loose the last few seconds. It worries me. It's actually quite wonderfully firm and perfectly round, soft, and smooth. You may not touch it.
