Well, Since I just injected a dose of bad vibes onto the list I thought I'd make up for it with a post that contains questions / comments that deal with the orb. Is anyone else excited about the LX and Mad Professor project? I think this has the potential to be one of the best orb projects in quite some time. Fingers crossed on that one... Also, has Auntie Aubry's Vol 3 ever been officailly released by Deviant or another label? Are there plans to? I haven't seen this in any stores and it's a shame because it's quite good. I think that LX's remixes have remained pretty strong over the years. I like the Auntie Aubry compliations because it's hard to track them all down. Anyone from Australia going to the DJ gigs this month? And as a final thought - I wish I was going to be in London for the May 14th show with Mad Professor. I hope a US tour is in the works in support of B&T. Not like Wavy Gravy or anything, but if you listen to ambient music you shouldnt be tense. Light a splif, relax. Its about fun. Alot of other blogs are overrun, we all have one ting' in common: we love orb. We all (for the most part) don't take shitloads of E and throw shit at LX cuz we want Carl "cock chugging" Craig to kick out the jams. I love all of you in your own way.. I do. It may just be the Jun tea talking, but I have always dreamed of an Orb convention. No trekke's, no Dr Who fans or former Oingo Boingo members... j since there is no justice here, were left with Just Us. We could have our hotel rooms open with all kinds of promos and cdrs splayed out on the beds. For those seeking revenge, we could all converge on Thrash's hometown and steal his manhole covers.
