environmental recordings

A limited time offer to you all. As I prepare to move my website I've put a set of environmental recordings I've done over the last month or so up on my site. Check 'em out at the link below. For those with a scientific bent, there are three good recordings of the 17 year cycada from three different places here in Louisville. Outside of that little area I haven't heard it as intense though that's just my little realm of experience. The thunderstorm is very nice and the frozen computer program is particularly weird because just as I got my minidisc unit rolling the stuck sound shifted slightly from what it had been for several minutes. Did The Orb ever do a collaboration or such with Thomas Dolby?.Sounds a bit ...yeah i know.But last weekend at a party i`m sure there was a track which went something along the lines of "mr pocalypse now..".Is it one of the Toxygene remixes?
