Quick trivia question - This bootleg audio contains a couple of DJ tracks before the Orb set starts. One of them is an incredibly lush house (?) track with a backwards vocal that sounds asian - could be Indian or Chinese - and some very Orbish sound effects over it. Does anybody know what this track is? Could it be a DJ Lewis track? I thought for a second you said, "Coldplay" in which case I was going to hunt you down and kill you. That has got to be the lamest bunch of posers I've heard since Chicago in the early 80's. I'd also like to comment about whoever was bitching the Orb didn't come to SE Britain: STFU!!! The nearest they're coming to the middle of Amerikkka during this tour is more than twice the entire length of Britain. I got my tickets this morning! I bet the last time the orb came to Texas was probably 1997. The last orb show i went to was in 2001 in San Fran which was a great show. I wouldn't call him a turntablist, from the few times ive seen he runs hot and cold. The genius is in the selections that he plays and mixes together (IMHO). John >DJ set is LX djing, mainly other artists' records. He's quite good, too. Maybe it was the drugs but I remember his DJ sets to be trainwrecks. Maybe he's improved? Has anyone heard Fehlmann spin before? -matt
