"Website older than girls I've dated lately." That's so sick. I mean, I won't deny having dated an 18 year old just five years ago but... well... what is the oldest a website could possibly be? 12 years old? So just curious if anyone knows of the oldest webpage on the web. I mean, is there something up there that was created back when the web was an experimental military thing? Al Gore, by the way, was the main force in the Senate that got the original internet funding pushed through and he was very closely involved with the creation of the internet as a steward and patron which is what the common misquote of him is all about. Anyway, I think that would be a fascinating thing to know. Also, my fledgling art car was involved in a parade and display over the weekend. I'm going to start embedding LEDs in the skin so if there are any brilliant electronic engineers that would like to help me wire the grid and design the controllers, please contact me. I'm beginning to think I need to mix regular bulbs (for fades) with the LEDs but I really want the system to run on spools with trailing arms in grooves to turn them off an on. There will be nine segments total and I want to mount the light controlling machine (primitive and advanced at once) on and about the dashboard. I figure the LEDs can be controlled in groups of four or so and still be able to make complicated movements. Anyway, if you'd like to help with this I'll give you credit somewhere on the outer surface as well as on the control mechanism itself. Anyone happen to have the tracklisting for this amazing set or care to start one? ;) >From the top of my head I cannot remember any of the tunes there ). However, I vaguely remember some oldish KLF tune there (or was it just odd samples thrown together?). Should give it another listen I guess.. Plus there's a cover version of "Smells Like Teen Spirit" done with sitars, plus some simple but yet amazing laid-back piece that heavily samples 2001: Space Odyssey. Don't know the names of both tunes, but would love to know what they are. Roman
