It was sorta wierd to get together in local dive bar that I often frequent as of late (located precisely in the asshole of my fair Twin Cities) and meet with another person with whom Thrash would like to see spitting up bones. 1 listee down and like 38 to go.... you're like pocemon' , just gotta get drunk with em' all. Hello, I've been off the list for awhile if anybody is still on here that I know - (hey Gavin!) Well, I've found myself going to London next weekend with nothing to do since the Throbbing Gristle reunion was cancelled. Got myself and the 2 others with me tickets to see the Orb Friday night with Mad Professor. Anyone else going? I'm hoping for a good show even though I hear B&T isn't great. When I saw Mad Professor with Lee Perry in Chicago many years ago, it was fantastic. If anyone is going and would like to get together beforehand and show some fellow Orb fans a good time then get in touch. Hi guys. Just finnished getting my grubby mitts on the new blue album by Orbital, and as with that of B&T, I was impressed but bloody frustrated at the same time. I'm a huge fan of both Orb and Orbital and appreciate both for their technical merit when it comes to their music, however both groups appear to have gone on a tangent. Dunni know if music itself is evolving, but the work is leaving behind the very essence that got me listening. Does anyone know if the methods of production itself is changing? I dunno; it sounds slightly more linear if that's a good way to describe it. Ignore me if I sound ignorent and un-educated but had to ask. >From me :: sloppy-butter.com :: I smell like poo too
