So I found the rooster sample used in LFC. Maybe you guys all knew this but it was not indicated in Lazlo's stuff. Also - my guess is that it's a library sound from an LP or sample CD. Hello all, I have just re-signed to this list and I am after a bit of info. Can anyone briefly explain waht the latest news is with the new Orb album "Bicyles and Tricycles"(?)? Orb website states release date as the back-end of April in Japan but I don't believe this date is concrete, (checked amazon.jp amongst others). FTP

Hi folks, I will be shutting down my ftp for a period of one month. i am moving to denver on friday and will be on dial-up for about a month. when i get back on a high-speed connect, i will email the list. It has been nice running my ftpt for so long, uninterrupted. I have made some upgrades to my workstation this week. i put in a WD 120 GIG 7200rpm with 8 megg Cach in as my ftp drive as well as building a new box as a dedicated server. When i get up and running, both machines will be online and running 24/7. I have resubscribed to the list under this email address, so i can stay up-to-date on KLF and ORB topics. It definitely does not fit into what people associate with the Orb. It's totally Cauty. However, I happen to really enjoy his style. Earlier I compared it to his Black Star Liner remix of Duggie Dohl, but it actually reminds me more of the album version of Duggie Dohl. If anything, it has more of the feel of his unreleased remix of Hard Days Night. I think Alex used it in one of his teatime mixes. If you want to check it out, this page uses it for the background music. Sure's more fun and interesting than ANY of the trainspotter crap LX's put out since BadOrb. Personally, I think it's a good sign when something gets under your skin a little. For me, it's better than the indifference the Orb's latest material gets from me. I think it's catchy and i wanted to hear it again right away. But then again, that too's a bad sign. It's not a "grower", which is the best you can get from music. It might grow thin real quick....
