My Breezeblock tracklisting/trackmarks

Thought i finally would chime in about this tracklisting if we are going to be a bunch of trainspotters, might as well get it right. The track that is listed as The Orb - EDM is really Denez Prigen - Yann Chaseour (The Orb's Heart of the Black Hole Mix). This is the one in the right channel (that latter was edited down and included in the UK pressings of Cydonia). Going to assume possible copyright or publishing problems prohibited it to be on the US pressing, which is a shame actually. The track (soundbits) that are in the left channel are all from Tino Break's Volume 3, which is a sort of side project of Jack Dangers of Meat Beat Manifesto and Ben Stokes of DHS. Alex just played a big chunk of the scratch sound bits on side b of the 12" ( you can actually still buy this from there site i think www.tinocorp.com ,just trying to help here for the obessive ones on this list). Speaking of Meat Beat Manifesto, in there remix album , Profile, there is a listing of all the production and remix work Jack has done. But there is a listing of a collaboration with Alex as MBM/The Orb - "1850 BC" / "Horn of Jericho" Any idea if it is a future release for Badorb? Haven't heard anything from MBM's end so time will tell on this one. Also the U2 song should be list as U2 - Numb (The Orb's Deaf and Dumb Mix) Hopefully this helps a bit. Hey everyone, Okay I know this has been beaten to death, but I thought I would just share with everyone the breakdown of tracks/times I used when adding trackmarks. 01 - The Orb - Hamlet Of Kings and Intro 4:23 02 - The Orb - EDM 10:06 03 - Creature - Cuba 6:43 04 - Junkie Xl - A Little Less Conversation 05 - FFWD - Drone 0:42 06 - Schem - The Lost Woods of Timber 3:29 (Not 100% sure on the name of this track, but its the same as track 4 on bob4.5) 07 - S.E. Berlin - Shuttle 5:02 08 - Electric Chairs - Barbie Girl (blastiquer mix by s.e. berlin) 3:37 09 - U2 - Deaf and Dumb (orb remix) 9:35 10 - The Orb - S.A.L.T 9:20 11 - The Chordettes - Mr Sandman 2:21 This is a listing of the actual songs, doesn't include things like John Carpenters dark star or other ones that were just samples used in the tracks.. Also the Mr Sandman track was listed as John Carpenter, I'm guessing because it was on the Halloween II soundtrack, but its performed by the chordettes. Also track 7 seems to be titled shuffle on most, but its suppose to be shuttle isn't it? Anyways thats the last I'll speak of it (unless you want to point out I'm wrong somewhere with this listing) :) later lance

I don't think it's lame, unless you can actually see the gap in the mp3 waveform. Most mp3 players do this by default when the file is loading. There was even a plugin for winamp called "gapless" that was supposed to prevent that from happening. I tried it and it seemed help a bit, but it still wasn't a seemless transition. BOB12 / Wobblyhead west coast tour

> is there anyone who hasn't got their bob12 12" yet? I've now gotten all my BOB12-related gear, including wax (obviously), TOG and CD. The CD is pretty nifty with standard BadOrb gray cover and BOB12 "character" in a slimline jewel case. I think someone else already mentioned that for some reason it's market "promotional - not for resale." I haven't gotten any BOB13 stuff yet, but that's hardly "late" at this point. I'd also like to mention that despite a certain degree of skepticism in these quarters when I brought this up before, the Gardonians were willing to be accommodating with my request for an early copy of BOB14 on MP3. Turns out they're having some technical difficulties and it's lookling like I won't get the code or MP3 in time for the tour, but I wanted to give a shout out to Sherman & Co. for the effort and prompt reply at least. And speaking of the tour, west-coast listies might be interested in checking us out. Both One.F and I will have the Daleth of Elphame EP in our crates along with various other Orb bits and BOBs, and the Signaldrift live PA definitely won't disappoint the average Orb fan (if there is such a thing), either.
