Guess I will add my two cents. Have enjoyed this string recounting memorable moments with Monty craft. Several years ago I was on my Monty 17 sailing on Mud Lake which is near Ellington Air force Base outside of Houston, Tx. There was an air show that day and there were quite a few boats anchored in the lake watching flyovers. Since the winds were down to about two knots I decided to slalom around the anchored boats. Though the breeze would have barely flickered a match I was able to sail in and out and all round about the anchored craft. I was thoroughly enjoying the Monty's maneuverability and responsiveness even in almost non-existent winds when suddenly I heard a low roar approaching the lake. I quickly sailed for open water and luffed my sails. There right above me was a flight of four F4 Phantoms about 200 feet off the deck just oozing power as they roared by. To say simply that I was thrilled would be a gross understatement. Felt just like a kid again watching my first drum and fife parade back east. <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> This email has been sent from a virus-free computer protected by Avast. www.avast.com <https://www.avast.com/sig-email?utm_medium=email&utm_source=link&utm_campaign=sig-email&utm_content=webmail> <#DDB4FAA8-2DD7-40BB-A1B8-4E2AA1F9FDF2>
