I nuerotically time myself each time I launch. My best time, so far, is 18 minutes from the time I step out of the truck to the time I get back in ready to put the boat in the water. I don't rush. My setup includes boom with main, jib and outboard. I leave the rudder until the boat is in the water. Packing up the boat, after the a sail, seems to be key in how quickly you can set it up the next time. I leave as much in place as possible. My last time out I noticed a partially flat trailer tire upon pulling the boat out of the water so I packed up as quickly as I could (8 minutes). When I got home I stepped the mast. I had quite a mess for the time I saved and while rushing I keep thinking I was forgetting something. I still have not figured out what it was that I forgot. Rick Langer M15 #337 Hudson River
