Hi, I am new to this group, My wife and I have purchased a new M17 from Bob. Plan to take delivery in mid to late April. I am wanting a cover for the boat from Sailors' Tailor. I have used them in the past for a cover for a Nimble 20 and they did a great job with it. I called them and they have the mooring cover to fit the deck and about 6 inch down the side. I would like the trailing/mooring cover so they need measurements from the rub rail to the bottom of the boat. I am not sure how far down the side of the hull I would need to take the material but enough to protect the hull from the sun light. Sailors' Tailor has the pattern for the deck, what they need is the measurements from the rail to the bottom of the hull in one foot increments starting at the bow and working back to the stern including the stern. Measurements for the location of the motor mount and rudder would also be needed. Can anyone help with these measurements. If so Please draw them on paper. David, I am planning to order a new M 17 in a few days. What options are you ordering on your boat. Are you getting a painted hull? Thanks Tony E. Tony Reed ...... Original Message ....... On Tue, 5 Feb 2008 14:14:04 -0700 "David Schuster" <davids@mmfcpa.com> wrote:
