Rod, While I'm not in the market for an M-17 (one is enough for me), I would be interested in your experience in refinishing the brightwork. What technique did you use for stripping and cleaning the teak? Varnish remover? Sanding? Teak cleaner? Did you take the wood off the boat, or work with it in place? One of my winter projects is refinishing the teak on Lynne L, and being new to the process can use all the advice I can get.
