Any thoughts on the stern pulpit on the M15 in particular? Nice to have because... Never have one it is in the way? Good to have to hang stuff on Good to have in heavy weather? Stuff like that. I guess my main concern is it "in the way" when entering the boat from swimming and using the outboard. Thanks for you thoughts. Christian F. Ranger20/M152007Hopefully
Because of the M15's main sheet set up, there are already impediments to entry from the stern. Our M15 did not come equipped, and it looked like a big pain to mount one aftermarket, so I never thought seriously about it... t On 2/6/07, m15@frontiernet.net <m15@frontiernet.net> wrote:

It looks nice, good to have in bad weather and very useful when I have to launch the boat by myself. So I think it's a good thing all around! Donglai M15 "Shaolin" On 2/7/07, m15@frontiernet.net <m15@frontiernet.net> wrote:

To All M-boaters, In the past, I remember some discussion concerning the M-15 main sheet configuration and the inability to mount a traveler to the stern. If an M-15 was outfitted with a stern pulpit, would it be possible to mount the traveler to the top rail of the stern pulpit? I have an early M-15 which does not have the stern pulpit and was considering adding one. This maybe just one of my crazy ideas, but thought I'd throw it out there and see if it sticks. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
