For what it's worth, we bought a 3500# hitch from an online company that shipped it to us direct. Installation was quite simple, about an hour's work. Basically you bolt the thing on. I don't recall the particular company, but there are several online. I do remember that it was based in a northern (Wisconsin?) state. If you can handle boat and trailer maintenance, you can do this job. I DID try U-Haul last summer, they ordered the hitch, only really didn't, reordered, didn't, were supposed to tell me as soon as it came in, and didn't, and I had to leave town earlier than I expected and didn't get it. (They never did call to say it was in so I probably need to start all over now.) They did do the hitch on my previous vehicle so they were (and unfortunately still are) my first choice. I called about three weeks early last time, its five weeks away so I'd better call now!
