Recommend you read the product tests from the various groups that write about such crafts. According to such tests, boat swamps easily and one cannot re-enter from the water without swamping. Keep that in mind for your typical conditions. Stay safe, Bruce Chmieleski M-15 364 TenderLee Sent by mental telepathy!
Yeah one can see the freeboard is rather small from the pics and videos, so needs to match one's use conditions. Skill & experience in paddlecraft matters too. This boat is clearly aimed at beginners and casual users, those most likely to blame the craft for their own mistakes and/or cluelessness. The part about "cannot re-enter from water without swamping" applies to all open interior, sit-inside (vs. sit-on-top) "recreational" kayaks. Unless the paddler has the equipment for a solo self-rescue and the skill to actually use that equipment. And flotation in the boat, unless they somehow fell out without capsizing the boat itself. Otherwise the boat is still swamped whether you're in it or not. cheers, John On 4/16/20 11:29 AM, Bruce Chmieleski wrote:
