Re: M_Boats: FW: any help in looking at M-15's and M-17's??
M-17 Motu iti is home based in Arlington, TX. She are currently in Lake Havasu City, AZ to participate in "1st Havasu Pocket Cruiser Poker Run and Scavenger Hunt" but will be back in TX in March. We would be happy to have you look her over and take a sail. BTW two of us spent 6 days and night on her in the San Juan Islands last year. Thanks for any help.:-) ---------------------------------------- I am located in Central Texas, near Austin and am in the process of selling my 30' ketch and downsizing. I've looked at all the small boats and decided on a Montgomery, but I am unsure between 15 and 17 (leaning towards 17). I've read through your entire site, including the discussion on choosingand I must say I am leaning towards 17 because of my desire to do lots of overnighters in it and sail along the Texas coast (in the bays, not the Gulf) but the 15 is really a very portable boat. Can you put me in touch with one or two owners in the Central Texas, or at least somewhere in Texas, with 15s and 17s that I could contact and perhaps visit? I've spoken to Bob as I may choose to buy new but he was unable to provide any names. In any case, thanks if you can help. Thank you, Dorothy. I'd be honored to come see her. Let me know when and I'll arrange my schedule.
