Interesting subject for creativity! I use a rigging style from my old "duck boat". I tie a line from the tiller and run it around the stern safety rail mounts and then forward to 2 blocks (pulleys) on the bow ( attached to base of bow pulpit) and back the same way ending at the tiller. THIS ALLOWS ME TO GO ON DECK AND STILL MAINTAIN RUDDER CONTROL. Don't call me RUBE, just a Monty owner. Give it a try, it's pretty low cost and has kept me out trouble. In the past, I have had to hustle back to the tiller due to changing winds, because I was "adjusting" something on deck. Bruce King Fair Oaks M15 484
