M boaters, Looking to get a new rudder post, any ideas? I purchased a long piece of aluminum bronze ( I think that's what Jerry used on the original M17) but I'm having a hard time finding a machine shop with a lathe long enough to handle it. I think it's 8 feet and 5/8 diameter. I think it needs to be 1/2 in diameter.
