Hi David Grah, I bought a Storm Jib from Elliot Pattison for our M15 and I thought it was very useful for strong windy conditions. Kept the boat under control even with the main reefed. It wasn't a big expense, but well worth it for my sailing style: smooth sailing. Fran Former M15 #236
The question I have is how would you go about a headsail change on an M15 in changeable conditions solo sailing. That is my concern. Usually when I start out winds are fine, but as the afternoon goes on conditions can get rough. I can’t heave to with main alone, so the only way I can imagine changing the headsail is to do a temporary anchor and get out there and change it. Scary thought. I would want jack lines. The foredeck is small, as is the access to it over the cabin top. Daniel On Feb 25, 2014, at 7:15 PM, Fran Lebowitz <ftlebowitz@gmail.com> wrote:
